Purity	>96% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
Formulation	Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. The protein was lyophilized with 0.5xPBS, pH 8.0.
Stability	The lyophilized form of the protein is stable at room temperature for 3 weeks and at -20°C for at least 2 years from the date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C for no more than 7 days. The protein is stable at -20°C for six months. For long term storage, please store at -80°C and the addition of a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is recommended. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity	The ED50, as calculated by the dose-dependant stimulation of the proliferation of murine M-NFS-60 indicator cells is typically 1.1-1.6ng/ml corresponding to 909,090-625,000 U/mg.
Solubility	It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized M-CSF in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
